Otrivin Allergy Aerozol do nosa 15ml

Otrivin Allergy is a medicinal product that, through its active substances, inhibits allergic reactions, facilitates the cleansing of the nasal passages and reduces runny nose, while not disturbing the function of the nasal epithelium cilia. The drug quickly and for a long time reduces nasal congestion, which makes breathing easier. Otrivin Allergy is in the form of a nasal spray, which is helpful when applied to the nasal mucosa. The medicinal product can be used in adults and children over 6 years of age.

Composition
The active substances of the drug are: phenylephrine and dimethindene maleate (Phenylephrinum, Dimethindeni maleas).

One ml of solution contains 2.5 mg of phenylephrine and 0.25 mg of dimethindene maleate.

One dose contains 0.3536 mg of phenylephrine and 0.0354 mg of dimethindene maleate.

Excipients: benzalkonium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, citric acid monohydrate, sorbitol, deterpenated lavender oil, purified water.

Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Otrivin Allergy should only be used in the nose (also in otitis media).
The medicine should be used after thoroughly cleaning the nose.
For hygienic reasons, the medicine package should only be used by one patient.
Otrivin Allergy spray should not be used for more than 7 consecutive days; if symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Children aged 6 to 12 years (under adult supervision): 1 - 2 doses in each nostril 3 to 4 times a day.

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 to 2 doses in each nostril 3 to 4 times a day; the last dose is recommended to be taken shortly before bedtime.

Action
Otrivin Allergy works in two directions, through the two active substances contained in it:

phenylephrine - reduces nasal congestion,
dimethindene maleate - inhibits the action of histamine, which is responsible for allergic reactions.

This combination means that Otrivin Allergy helps to cleanse the nasal passages and reduces excessive mucus secretion, without disturbing the function of the nasal epithelium cilia. Otrivin Allergy quickly and for a long time causes less nasal congestion. The medicine unblocks the nose and makes breathing easier.

Indications
Otrivin Allergy is used to treat symptoms of:

colds,
nasal congestion,
acute and chronic rhinitis,
seasonal (hay fever) and non-seasonal allergic rhinitis,
vasomotor rhinitis,
supportively in acute and chronic sinusitis,
in otitis media.
Pre- and postoperative care in nasal surgery.

Otrivin Allergy to produkt leczniczy, który poprzez zawarte w nim substancje czynne hamuje reakcję alergiczną, ułatwia oczyszczanie przewodów nosowych oraz zmniejsza katar a przy tym nie zaburza czynności rzęsek nabłonka jamy nosowej. Lek szybko i na długo zmniejsza przekrwienie błony śluzowej nosa, co ułatwia oddychanie. Otrivin Allergy ma postać aerozolu do nosa, co jest pomocne przy aplikacji na błonę śluzową nosa. Produkt leczniczy można stosować u dorosłych oraz dzieci w wieku powyżej 6 lat.

Skład
Substancjami czynnymi leku są: fenylefryna i dimetyndenu maleinian (Phenylephrinum, Dimetindeni maleas).

Jeden ml roztworu zawiera 2,5 mg fenylefryny i 0,25 mg dimetyndenu maleinianu.
Jedna dawka zawiera 0,3536 mg fenylefryny i 0,0354 mg dimetyndenu maleinianu. 

Substancje pomocnicze: benzalkoniowy chlorek, sodu wodorofosforan bezwodny, kwas cytrynowy jednowodny, sorbitol, olejek lawendowy deterpenowany, woda oczyszczona.

Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.

Otrivin Allergy należy stosować wyłącznie do nosa (również w zapaleniu ucha środkowego).
Lek należy stosować po dokładnym oczyszczeniu nosa.
Ze względów higienicznych opakowanie leku powinno być stosowane tylko przez jednego pacjenta. 
Aerozolu Otrivin Allergy nie należy stosować dłużej niż 7 kolejnych dni, przy utrzymujących się objawach należy skonsultować się z lekarzem.
Dzieci w wieku od 6 do 12 lat (pod nadzorem dorosłych): 1 - 2 dawki do każdego otworu nosowego 3 do 4 razy na dobę.

Dorośli oraz dzieci w wieku powyżej 12 lat: 1 do 2 dawek do każdego otworu nosowego 3 do 4 razy na dobę; ostatnią dawkę zaleca się przyjmować krótko przed snem.

Działanie
Otrivin Allergy działa dwukierunkowo, poprzez zawarte w nim dwie substancje czynne:

fenylefrynę – powoduje zmniejszenie przekrwienie błony śluzowej nosa,
maleinian dimetyndenu – hamuje działanie histaminy, która odpowiada za reakcje alergiczne.
Takie połączenie powoduje, że Otrivin Allergy wspomaga oczyszczanie przewodów nosowych oraz zmniejsza nadmierne wydzielanie śluzu przy czym nie zaburza czynności rzęsek nabłonka jamy nosowej. Otrivin Allergy szybko a także na długo powoduje mniejsze przekrwienie błony śluzowej nosa. Lek udrożnia nos i ułatwia oddychanie. 

Wskazania
Otrivin Allergy stosuje się podczas leczenia objawów:

przeziębienia,
przekrwienia błony śluzowej nosa,
ostrego i przewlekłego zapalenia błony śluzowej nosa,
sezonowego (katar sienny) oraz niesezonowego alergicznego zapalenia błony śluzowej nosa,
naczynioruchowego zapalenia błony śluzowej nosa,
wspomagająco w ostrym i przewlekłym zapaleniu zatok,
w zapaleniu ucha środkowego.
Pielęgnacja przed- i pooperacyjna w chirurgii nosa.
