Syrop Prawoślazowy 100ml | Marshmallow Syrup

Marshmallow syrup protects the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, protecting them from irritation.

Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age - 15 ml three times a day.

Children under 12 years of age - unless the doctor advises otherwise, usually take 5 ml three times a day.
Composition
100g of syrup contains:
- marshmallow root macerate 35.9g, benzoic acid 0.1g, sucrose 64.0g.
- ethanol content (760 g/l) not more than 1.1% (m/v)

Action
Marshmallow root contains mucous substances that have a protective effect and soothe irritations of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.

Indications
Cough due to inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.
Due to the content of benzoic acid, do not use in patients with bronchial asthma.
The medicine contains sucrose - if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
The medicine contains 186 mg of ethanol (alcohol) in a single dose for adults, which is equivalent to 4.7 ml of beer or approximately 2 ml of wine. Due to the alcohol content, it is not recommended for use in patients with liver disease, epilepsy or alcoholism.
Side effects

Taking other medicines
The absorption of other medications taken simultaneously may be delayed.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
It should not be administered due to the lack of data confirming its safety and alcohol content.

Dawkowanie

Dzieci poniżej 12 r.ż - o ile lekarz nie zaleci inaczej zwykle stosuje się trzy razy na dobę po 5 ml.

Działanie

Kaszel w przebiegu stanów zapalnych górnych dróg oddechowych.

Przeciwskazania
Nadwrażliwość na którykolwiek ze składników preparatu.
Ze względu na zawartość kwasu benzoesowego nie stosować u pacjentów z astmą oskrzelową.
Lek zawiera sacharozę - jeśli stwierdzono wcześniej u pacjenta nietolerancję niektórych cukrów, pacjent powinien skontaktować się z lekarzem przed przyjęciem leku.
