Skinoren cream is a medicine used for acne and skin discoloration. The drug contains azelaic acid, which has an antibacterial effect, reduces the number of blackheads, inhibits excessive keratinization of the epidermis. Skinoren is intended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Ingredients
The active substance is azelaic acid (Acidum azelaicum).

1 g of cream contains 200 mg of azelaic acid.

Excipients: benzoic acid (E 210), cetearyl octanoate, glycerol 85%, glyceryl stearate + cetyl stearyl alcohol + cetyl palmitate + coconut macrogolglycerol (CUTINA CBS), propylene glycol, purified water, macroglyceride stearate.

Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

A drug for topical application to the skin. Before use, clean and dry the affected area. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medicine.

The usual dosage of Skinoren cream is 2 times a day (morning and evening) a thin layer of the drug applied to the affected skin. A 2.5 cm strip of cream (approx. 0.5 g) is enough to cover the entire face. If skin irritation occurs, the amount of cream used should be reduced or limited to once a day. If necessary, stop taking the drug for a few days.

The duration of treatment with Skinoren depends on the severity of the patient's lesions. Improvement in the treatment of acne is usually achieved after 4 weeks of regular use. Do not use the drug for more than 12 months. In the treatment of hyperpigmentation, it is recommended to use the drug for at least 3 months and use creams with a UV A and UV B filter (sunlight may increase skin discoloration).

Action
Skinoren contains azelaic acid, which has antibacterial properties (inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes bacteria), inhibits excessive keratinization of the epidermis, reduces the amount of free fatty acids on the skin surface and reduces the number of blackheads. In addition, azelaic acid inhibits the growth and overactivity of abnormal epidermal pigment cells (melanocytes).

Krem Skinoren to lek stosowany w trądziku i przebarwieniach skóry. Lek zawiera kwas azelainowy, który wykazuje działanie przeciwbakteryjne, zmniejsza liczbę zaskórników, hamuje nadmierne rogowacenie się naskórka. Skinoren jest przeznaczony dla dorosłych oraz młodzieży w wieku powyżej 12 lat.

Skład

Nie stosować leku dłużej niż 12 miesięcy. W leczeniu przebarwień zaleca się stosowanie leku przez co najmniej 3 miesiące i należy stosować kremy z filtrem UV A i UV B (promieniowanie słoneczne może nasilać przebarwienia skóry).

Działanie
Skinoren zawiera kwas azelainowy, który działa przeciwbakteryjnie (hamuje rozwój bakterii Propionibacterium acnes), hamuje nadmierne rogowacenie naskórka, zmniejsza ilość wolnych kwasów tłuszczowych na powierzchni skóry oraz zmniejsza liczbę zaskórników. Ponadto kwas azelainowy hamuje wzrost i nadmierną aktywność nieprawidłowych komórek barwnikowych naskórka (melanocytów).

Wskazania
Wskazaniem do zastosowania kremu Skinoren jest leczenie trądziku pospolitego oraz przebarwień skóry.
