Dosage

Premature babies: 2 drops a day of Vigantol solution (1000 IU of vitamin D3). After 40 weeks of age of the corrected age, the prophylaxis dose should be reduced. The dosage must be established by the attending physician
Newborns and infants (up to 12 months): 1 drop of Vigantol solution daily (equivalent to 500 IU of vitamin D).

In premature babies, newborns and infants, the drug should be used under medical supervision.
Adults, adolescents (12 years of age and older) and the elderly: 1 drop of Vigantol solution daily (equivalent to 500 IU of vitamin D).
Adjunctive treatment in osteoporosis in adults: 2 drops a day of Vigantol solution (equivalent to 1000 IU of vitamin D).

Do not use the medicinal product for a long time or in higher doses without medical supervision. In addition, without medical supervision, you should not use other medications, dietary supplements or any other type of food containing vitamin D (cholecalciferol), calcitriol or other metabolites and analogues of vitamin D at the same time.

Indications
Vigantol is used:

• for the prevention of rickets and osteomalacia in children and adults,
• to prevent rickets in premature babies,
• in the prevention of diseases when there is a risk of vitamin D deficiency in children and adults,
• in the prevention of vitamin D deficiency in children and adults,
• as adjunctive therapy in osteoporosis in adults.

Vigantol zawiera substancję czynną witaminę D (cholekalcyferol) ważną w procesie tworzenia kości.

Nie należy stosować produktu leczniczego długotrwale lub w większych dawkach bez nadzoru lekarza. Ponadto bez nadzoru lekarza nie należy stosować jednocześnie innych leków, suplementów diety ani innego rodzaju środków spożywczych zawierających witaminę D (cholekalcyferol), kalcytriol lub inne metabolity i analogi witaminy D.

Wskazania
Vigantol stosuje się:

• w zapobieganiu krzywicy i osteomalacji u dzieci i dorosłych,
• w zapobieganiu krzywicy u wcześniaków,
• w zapobieganiu schorzeniom w przypadku występowania ryzyka niedoboru witaminy D u dzieci i dorosłych,
• w zapobieganiu niedoborom witaminy D u dzieci i dorosłych,
• w leczeniu wspomagającym w osteoporozie u dorosłych.
